Industrial Equipment Circuitry and Automatic Control Systems Explanation: Hi, Angela. You know me, I am no engineer, but this is how I would phrase this when translating a diploma or some such. There is definitely no such thing as "electronics" in US parlance, and "physical plants" somehow remind me of that cactus in a pot. Whether they say that or not in Russia is altogether irrelevant. Russia is not an English-speaking country. Not yet anyway:) |

electronics and automation/automatic control of physical plants Explanation: Так в вузах РФ переводят эту специальность. Относительно США не в курсе. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 mins (2019-08-21 17:55:59 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- https://eng.mephi.ru/news/119572 14.05.04 Electronics and automation of physical plants. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2019-08-21 19:15:37 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Это то, что вообще отсутствует in US parlance. https://www.multitran.com/m.exe?l1=2&l2=1&s=electronics -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2019-08-21 19:19:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Этого, видимо, тоже не существует. https://www.multitran.com/m.exe?l1=1&l2=2&s=Automation&langl... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2019-08-21 19:24:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- С физическими установками ситуация затруднительнее, но не думаю, что специалистам в теме это будет напоминать "кактус в горшке". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2019-08-21 19:30:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- physics research units/facilities (ответ коллеги), IMO будет уместнее чем physical plant |
