Russian term or phrase: долговременная укладка
Hello, this term comes from a document about training hairdressers to provide different client services. It appears in a list of training modules offered by the salon chain.

There is not much context as it appears in a list as завивка и долговременная укладка. The list also includes Стойкая крем-краска, Интенсивное тонирование, Осветление волос, Стайлинг и уход.

I think it may mean 'curling and permanent waves' but it would be helpful to see if anyone else has a different understanding, as I have found various translations of укладка which include both 'hairdressing' and 'hair styling'. Most images that come up in Google are of permed hair although some are of straight hairstyles.

The term укладка also appears as укладка и завивка elsewhere in the text.

В английском языке carving - это резная работа. Никаких жестких мер холодным оружием, к счастью, здесь не предполагается. Карвинг - это обработка волос химическим составом с последующим приданием нужной формы. Это одновременно и химия и не химия.

Explanation:
It is a different service to curling, how ever i think you should be able to curl your hair and then blow dry it. BTW service of завивка or curling also called by the name of the tool they use, for instance in tony and guy in London its called tongs, appears in section of heat treatment next to iron whitch suppose to straighten your hair and cost the same. Hope that helps.
