Russian term or phrase: Экранирование волос
From what I've found on the Internet, this is something similar to lamination, but not quite the same. There's a lot of information about it on line in Russian, but nothing to tell me how to say it in English. There's no context in the translation I'm working on; it's pretty much just a list. Anyone know what this is called?

Explanation:
If I am correct, this is a process to "coat" hair with product without dying it, sealing in moisture and making it softer/easier to manage. It is similar to a moisture treatment, but more expensive and most American salons don't offer this.
