Romanian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Psychology / Child Autism hospital not
Romanian term or phrase: Centrul National de referinta Impotriva Epilepsiei
This is in the heading of a letter from a Psychiatric consultant.

Can somebody explain to me what exactly a "centrul de referinta" does? "Reference centre" does not work in English. Do they mean an "institute of reasearch" or a statistical office of some sort?

Please explain to me, but the term "reference" means nothing in English; I need an explanation if you cannot find an appropriate word.
