sheath equipped with a locking system Explanation: I found the phrase on a website selling SEAL type knives: http://www.scuba.com/US/scuba-gear-30/024342/Aqua-Lung.-Argo... The knives shown don't have such a sheath but one of the forum members commented that it doesn't have a locking system. He's a certified scuba instructor so I'd trust his choice of terminology.
