Am intalnit expresia si sub forma "Sa te fereasca Dumnezeu de prostul cu diploma!", insa nu reusesc sa gasesc un echivalent cat mai bun in engleza. Multumesc in avans pentru ajutor!

Mersi mult! De fapt pe "educated fools" nu il gaseam, contextul este ceva mai pasiv, de aceea cred ca cea mai buna varianta pentru mine va fi "(may) heaven save you from educated fools"

Daca e vorba de un proverb care trebuie sa aiba un aer vechi/traditional, atunci alegeti "learned", daca in context exista referire specifica la licentiati, atunci "a fool with a degree".

- "Fool" poate insemna si "neghiob, prostut, credul" etc., nu neaparat "prost, imbecil".
- "Sa te fereasca Cerul" mi se pare similar cu "Doamne fereste/pazeste (de)"
