I'm trying figure out what the abbreviatied or shorted words stand for. This is in an document from the SEGURANÇA SOCIAL (from Portugual) with the "Extrato anual de remunerações" with the description of the "regime" given for the social security contribution paid each year (I believe.

"[YEAR] - [Total de Valor] - regime geral em contrib. con fins lucrativos ou s/ fins lucrativo se a sit. contrib. perante a ss não estiver regularizada"

In the document in who line is in capital letters. So I'm guessing "SS" may be Social Security, while I'm failing to figure out "esq." and "se a sit." Here are other texts for context:
