Art. 12 Compete ao Comitê de Análise de Ex-tarifários - CAEx, instituído no âmbito do Ministério do Desenvolvimento, Indústria e Comércio Exterior (MDIC), composto por um representante da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento da Produção (SDP), um representante da Secretaria Executiva da CAMEX (SE-CAMEX) e um representante do Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES), examinar os pareceres elaborados pela SDP sobre o preenchimento dos requisitos da legislação para a concessão de Ex-Tarifário de que trata esta Resolução.
§1º A secretaria e a presidência do CAEx serão exercidas pela SDP, que proverá os meios necessários ao seu funcionamento.
§2º Os integrantes do CAEx examinarão os pareceres da SDP, com a finalidade de subsidiar as deliberações dos membros do GECEX e do Conselho de Ministros da CAMEX.
§3º Os pareceres mencionados no caput deste artigo serão levados ao conhecimento dos membros do CAEx pela SDP, exclusivamente via correio eletrônico (“e-mail”).
§4º O CAEx reunir-se-á periodicamente por ***convocação de sua secretaria***.
