Asker: Laut Zeichnung handelt es sich um den platten- oder blendenartigen Oberteil des Herds, in den die Gaskochplatten oder -felder eingesetzt sind (gewöhnlicher Gasherd). Ich weiß nur nicht, wie diese Komponente im Deutschen benannt wird.

Asker: Ich befürchte, dass man Herdplatte mit Kochplatte verwechseln könnte... es handelt sich jedoch nicht um den Teil des Herdes, auf den die Töpfe gestellt werden, sondern z.B. um das Blech (könnte auch ein anderes Material sein) dazwischen
