Portuguese term or phrase: mundo à prova
This is a short excerpt from a text on the city of Porto. I'm having trouble coming up with an idiomatic equivalent of "mundo à prova" in English.

O segundo porto mostra-nos as caves, com os túneis e os barris perfilados.
O mundo à prova num copo, num vinho
que navega a terra, vive em todas as casas,
e nos acolhe com o verdadeiro espírito do Porto.

Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

agree  Lara Barnett: Why not "ON" your palette?// I think that works in the way it is fun (linguistically), but it does not sound very smooth grammatically. I like ON, but unfortunately that would stray from the play on words - I have no idea which one would be better.

-> Thanks Lara and why not? Todd if you like "ON" even more, let Lara know. I was thinking of a take on "at your fingertips"
