The first one is tricky, because "the 'in' people" means something else in English (i.e. "hip").

As for "quatrocentona," this means that the family goes back 400 years in Brazil.

This is a claim that is often taken SERIOUSLY. I have a friend who does so -- his lineage in Brazil goes back to the 1500s, and he resents people who use the term lightly, so you might want to consider the literal translation. Otherwise, you would need to emphasize "old": e.g., very old, old and traditional....
