domesticated cattle Explanation: 'Domesticated' is used in Linguée to refer to other animals. I'm not entirely sure that this is the best answer. In the Portuguese bullfight, which I saw in Lisbon many years ago, at the end of the show they brought out the "gado manso" to lead the bull out of the ring. They were wearing cowbells and gently herded him back "home". |

gentle cattle; docile cattle Explanation: These were the most common terms during my online research. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 horas (2016-03-28 10:01:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ex.: http://oldfarmphotos.blogspot.com.br/2015/12/thirty-cattle-b... and http://www.fennbrahmans.net/cattlebehavior.htm -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2016-03-28 11:07:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Entendo, Tania. |

Tame cattle Explanation: 'domesticated' isn't quite the right word as any animal that is ''domesticated ' lives in a house with humans, such as dogs or cats; 'gentle' is a completely inappropriate word to use with cattle, and while some cattle may be docile, this a word mainly applied to the general temperament of animals both wild and domestic, hence 'tame' would be more usual to my ears, as it implies animals which have become more homogeneous to humans over the course of their evolution: taming wild calves - Homesteading Today www.homesteadingtoday.com › Livestock Forums › Cattle 5 Jan 2010 - 18 posts - 13 authors I believe, that there ARE animals that are nearly impossible to tame, and if you get those type tamed that they will never be trustworthy. We haven't found "the one" yet, but are definately going with the. |
