Cumpre apontar que o português tem restrita a atribuição do acento a uma das três últimas sílabas; desta forma, acontecerá o deslocamento do acento à direita sempre que houver tentativa de infração a tal princípio.

In Portuguese stress must be assigned on one of the three last syllables. Stress shifts to the right whenever there is an attempt of infringing on this principle.
