HELP PLEASE!!!
I am translating a EU report about fisheries and aquaculture and I have come across a sentence that I simply do not understand...:

This is the general context: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/meetdocs/2009_2014/documents/c...

Could someone please help me understand what "estatutos de denominação" mean? Does it have to do with destinations of origin?
