neutral  Mark Robertson: Represented is a past participle. The text requires a noun. You should have posted "represented party". 2. Yes I did. The target term should be in the answer.

Principal(s); (Fem: Corporate) Clients

Explanation:
la representada: principal, client, person or company he represents, West's Mex etc. SPA/ AmE business & law dictionary.

If feminine because a company = empresa or sociaedade, then - arguably and controversially amongst translators only - it's OK to pluralise to principals or clients.

The legal convention is to pluralised corporate litigants, namley the claimants / plaintiffs and defendants, despite objections that a company ought to be referred to as 'it': such is the drafting conmvention in the Chancery Division of the London or Manchester High Court only vs. a partnership as 'they' being a collection of individuals.

However, UK judges are not consistent in using singular or plural for corporate litigants, even within the same judg(e)ment: cf. English law reports.

Example sentence(s):
  • IATE: intellectual property > research and intellectual property] Council es representado en the represented person
