agree  Marian Greenfield: the ones that are legitimate business trips (virtually all my trips abroad) that are not otherwise reimbursed.. Cont. Ed. is tricky if there's no conference or course involved... I hear the IRS doesn't buy travel abroad itself as Cont Ed....
