Cosmetics, Beauty / hairdressing
Portuguese term or phrase: enluvamento
Appears in a phrase on keratin treatment for the hair:

Aplicar mecha a mecha uma proporção generosa nos cabelos molhados, com enluvamento, deixar agir durante 20 minutos.

I thought maybe hair wrapping, but that seems to be a type of braiding. Is 'enluvamento' that procedure where they put little pieces of foil around the sections of hair?

a movent done to spread a product on the hair

Explanation:
Nooooo!!! "Enluvamento" is the name of a movement done when spreading a product on the hair. I don’t think there’s a translation, but anyway, it’s done using both hands: you hold a hair lock and pull it from the bulb to the end, when you are almost done, you start the same movement with the other hand… and this is repeated many times…. It’s as if you were climbing a hill… Watch the video... you will see it...
