Portuguese term or phrase: REP NOTFRED
Ok, this might look a little strange but I will provide more context.

The term REP NOTFRED appears in a mark-sheet under "RESULTADO". It's clear that REP = reprovado and NOT might be "nota". However, I'm clueless as to what it all means. There is another occurrence REPROV NOTA which I have translated simply to "FAILED". The mark-sheet is of a Brazilian University. Would anybody familiar with this document be able to provide some clues?

Explanation:
There are only two possible ways to fail a University discipline, as far as I know: by grade (nota) or by attendance (frequência). This seem to be a very specific abreviation. I would look for a student of the same university to ask what does it mean.

Notes to answerer
Asker: @Livia, you have hit the nail on the head. I believe the abbreviation could be REP NOTFREQ (Failed as a result of both, marks and attendance). The document font is not very clear and hence it appeared to me as NOTFRED instead of NOTFREQ. Muitissimo obrigado colega!
