Asker: Vielen Dank. Es ist mir eben darum gegangen. Habe mir schon gedacht, dass man diesen Ausdruck nicht wortwörtlich übersetzen kann und konnte keinen passenen Ausdruck finden. So etwas wie Waldwand habe ich im Zusammenhang mit Windkraftwerken auch nicht gefunden.

  -> Das weiß ich wohl, aber es gibt keine ""Wand des Waldes", zu der bei Bauprojekten Entfernungen gemessen werden. Ich verweise nochmal auf den Bildervergleich bei Wikipedia.
