BVM to nie jest dosłownie NMP, ale takie samo jest zastosowanie.

U nich rzeczywiście mówi się np. „the Blessed Virgin” jako „Najświętsza Panna”, ale to jest inne Blessed niż przed imieniem zwykłego błogosławionego, który nie jest kanonizowany. „Most Holy” nie spotyka się w tym kontekście, tzn. oczywiście można byłoby powiedzieć np. „the most holy Mother of God”, ale typowy akronim to BVM.
