promised contract Explanation: słownik prawniczy Małkiewicz From now on, the parties concluding a preliminary contract do not have to stipulate the date when the promised contract is to be signed. In the event the date is not indicated, the party entitled to concluding the promised contract, accordingly to provisions of art. 389 § 2 of the Civil Code, is granted the right to assign the date. In case both parties have the right to demand signing of the promised contract and both of them have assigned different dates, the date in which the promised contract should be concluded is the one which had been indicated first.
