typo: synoptyczna > synoptic Explanation: As suggested in the discussion area. I can find no sign of this word, but with an initial s instead of r it makes good sense in the context. And the reference Frank has posted demonstrates convincingly that it should read "Chronologia synoptyczna...". http://tlumacz.interia.pl/szukaj?utf8=1&q=synoptyczny&jezyk=... "Synoptic" in English (like its Polish equivalent, apparently) is a word particularly associated with biblical studies, but it is also used in other contexts: "Synoptic Chronology for Three Mile Island" https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=Ju74Flw5g_MC&pg=PA166&lp... So although I am an intruder and not a Polish speaker, I think the literal translation, "synoptic", can safely be used here. |
