Polish term or phrase: posiadane kwalifikacje i uprawnienia zawodowe
Słuchajcie, tłumaczę po raz pierwszy suplement do polskiego dyplomu, to tłumaczenie poświadczone. Jako materiał referencyjny ściągnęłam sobie wzór suplementu w języku angielskim, ale widzę, że nie odpowiada on dokładnie polskiej wersji. Na przykład tłumaczenie powyższego wyrażenia to po prostu "professional status". Zawsze mnie uczono, że tłumaczenie przysięgłe ma być na tyle dokładne, ile się da, i moja praca nie polega na zrobieniu copy-paste z gotowca, ale chcę się upewnić: czy kierujecie sformułowaniami z tego wzoru, kiedy tłumaczycie suplementy?

I have done hundreds of them for the US market. It has worked so far. It is pretty literal and it does convey the meaning of the original.

I don't like the version you quoted at all. By the way, evaluation agencies and admission committees require "literal translations".

Asker: I also prefer your version than this "professional status" and I'm going to use it! This 'official' English version is very confusing in my opinion, but I don't think it's binding for me as a sworn transator.
