See you at the top! Explanation: Naim is right -- so I'm kind of stealing his spotlight. This is exactly the term to use in everyday lingo, in a competitive situation. "I'll meet you at the top" is merely geographical (like if you're hiking up a mountain). "See you at the top" has to do with a more abstract usage -- ranking or competing for some top honour or coveted prize/outcome, where the speaker is confident that he/she will come in first place! |
