When "upphakningar" (sorry, I couldn't find any matches for Norwegian but I'm 99% sure the Swedish term has the same meaning) occur, you cannot bend your knee:

At the same time, it's not the same as 'true locking':
'Yngre patient med låsningar/upphakningar utan ett helt låst knä' (i.e. there is 'true locking' and 'false locking', and upphakningar is the latter):
