Norwegian term or phrase: automagisk / automagien
Another odd marketing term, which I first thought was a typo, but it seems that this is used in Norwegian and Swedish to define a process which is both automatic, and magical (i.e. hidden).

Here is the context:

"Automagisk integrasjon med Microsoft Office"

"Automagien fortsetter i Microsoft Office"

Does anyone have any natural-sounding solutions for this? I'm all out of ideas.

OK, I understand your aversion to the expression. Maybe someone will come up with a better way of saying it. On the other hand, I have had to pinch my nose from time to time, while writing in a Norwegian style far from my own liking.

agree  Lene Johansen: Actually, I coined this term when I was working as a computer engineer at UiO back in the late 90's. It was when a user called and the computer was messed up and the user insisted they hadn't done anything to the machine. :o)
