This is a list in a brochure for refrigerators. I googled folkerom and only ended up with a bunch of stuff in Russian so I am kind of at a loss here. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

agree  Charles Ek: (S/b "cold room". A "cool room" describes a teenager's bedroom.) At the linked site: "Dette kjølerommet kalles Folkerommet og er et meget populært kjølerom for privathusholdningen. Det er et passe stort kjølerom som passer både hverdager og til fest!"
