Two graves lie west of the church on Stong. Explanation: Two graves lie west of the church on Stong. The weather-worn remnants of the coffins were all around. Boneremants were very sparse but in very good condition. The white ashes under one of the coffins are prehistoric H3-ashes from a violent eruption of the Hekla volcano about 2800 years ago. |
