It's used also in other contexts, whenever there's traffic involved: "Pagal greitosios darbo optimizavimo viziją, pasiūlytą Vilniaus teritorinės ligonių kasos, centralizuota << dispečerinė >> nukreiptų pas ligonį arčiausiai esančią greitosios brigadą." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2007-08-13 22:15:59 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Vessel traffic service" seems to be a newer term, because German and Dutch Wikipedias have not been able to translate it.
