singing nursery rhymes and fingerplay Explanation: JK tokie ketureiliai vadinami "nursery rhymes".

Reference: infant amusements Reference information: Infant amusements, a special kind of nursery rhymes, are performed by singing or reciting very short verses and are accompanied by a certain movement: rocking, stroking, massaging, tickling, bouncing on the leg or the knee, playing with hands, fingers. The singers call them in different ways: cuddling, "riding", "trotting", "sawing", clapping, etc. The verse of these pieces has elements of a very short tale, with either birds and animals acting in them or children themselves becoming the heroes who ride the horses, cook porridge, etc. Infant amusements are intended to entertain the small ones, to make them active, to develop their attention, coordination, to stimulate their swiftness.
