saturate [the] texture; use saturated texture[s]; imbue with rich texture[s] Explanation: "Faktūra" atbilst vārdam "texture" - sākotnēji materiāla (auduma, krāsojuma u.tml.) virsmas uzbūve, īpašības; otrēji - arī plašākā nozīmē: 'the general structure, appearance and feel of something' (The Chambers Dictionary. 1994). "The pink edges IMO are the most problematic, since the ripped skin edges do not match up. E.g. on the jeeps front hood vs. the motor grill area. So either avoid scratches near the edges, or try to "continue" them across both textures. The green edge marks a significant change in color saturation. Personally I'd stick with the less **saturated texture** from the front part of the jeep." http://www.tribeza.com/?q=pd/articledetail&nid=1856 "Gorman selects collections that are **imbued with rich textures** and impeccable structure from New York, Milan, and Paris. “My love for fashion..." Var attiecināt, piemēram, uz mūziku. http://www.fabermusic.com/serverside/news/Details.asp?ID=251 "Celebration is the work’s intended theme, and there are passages of **saturated texture** that are truly epiphanic. But the long, closing Agnus Dei is likely to leave us in a more reflective state of mind." http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3870/is_200404/ai_n9... "When it comes to analysing 12-note music, the claim (and the 'segmentation') may be less arbitrary: but only because the claim has become tautological. The 12-note method was invented precisely to produce the sort of maximalised motivic consistency and **saturated texture** that analysts look for. Clearly Schoenberg was motivated by the ideal that Shawn invokes to tout his work." Reference: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/define.asp?key=82214&dict=CA... |

Tāpēc es ieteiktu, piemēram, applying thick impasto texture; create texture with thick strokes; create texture with thick paint; paint with impasto texture; create thick rich texture, etc. I would rather refer it to the painting technique, i. e., how the paint has been applied to canvas.
