agree  Luis Antonio de Larrauri: According to my Bible, Amen is an Hebrew term which means firm, reliable. It can be said of God (Is 65,16), of Christ (Ap 3,14) or used as an adverb (Dt 27,15-16, Jn 3,5). I've always seen translated as "truly, truly" at the beginning of the sentence
