Explanation:
just making guesses since I saw that disagreement...

assuming that どんぞ is basically the same as どうぞ, that can be translated as "go ahead". so that's another possibility. I can't understand what Y is thinking as he says that though, just from this bit of dialog. I feel like it could be anything, like "oh, ok", or "whoa! all right...", or "huh. go ahead", etc etc. so... just a matter of what combination you think works the best??
