indicated to be inequitable Explanation: I think here 指摘 is talking about the tax accountant pointing out issues when reporting to the tax authorities so the meaning would be along the lines of "(reported as) indicated to be inequitable/unjust." "The tax accountant informed the tax office that a strategy of only providing pensions to the Board of Directors and not to employees was being used to reduce tax payments, which was also indicated to be inequitable / unjust. The introduction of the lump-sum payment was considered but it was not implemented as there were objections from some members of the Board of Directors." |
