Representative Director Explanation: 代表取締役は、取締役会を代表する人間であり、取締役会の構成メンバーが、自分達のメンバーの中から選出します。 一方、CEOは最高経営責任者という意味であり、取締役会がこれを任命します。 しかし、必ずしも、取締役会のメンバーの中から任命する必要はありません。 取締役会が決めた方針に従って、実際の経営を行う最高責任者がCEOです。 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13時間 (2020-02-01 01:12:54 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Representative Director shall represent the Board of Directors and shall be elected by the members of the Board from among themselves. CEO, on the other hand, does not necessarily have to be appointed from among board members.
