agree  Assiolo: Se si tratta di trascorrere, direi "le vacanze". La mia sensazione è che le vacanze sono il periodo delle ferie. La vacanza, invece, è come un singolo viaggio: "ho fatto una bella vacanza in Trentino, a Parigi, ecc." Ma "ho passato le vacanze a Parigi"
