E’ infatti un’abitudine che spopola nella parte orientale dell’Europa: in Russia ad esempio, si usa rompere i bicchieri dopo aver brindato con la vodka. Pare facile ma non lo è: la vodka va buttata giù tutta d’un sorso e il bicchiere va lanciato alle proprie spalle in segno di augurio e buona fortuna. In altri paesi slavi invece si ribalta la concezione: se mentre brindi si rompe un bicchiere è cosa assai grave perché porta male, è un segno della sfortuna o addirittura un segno di morte. E sempre in questa porzione di Terra si registra un’ altra credenza: in alcuni paesi dell’est, infatti, si usa rompere i bicchieri dopo il brindisi altrimenti chi berrà nel bicchiere dopo di te ti ruberà la felicità.
