Italian term or phrase: zucchina o zucchino? (pianta e/o frutto?) Si usano entrambi, ma in Toscana (dove vivo) prevale l'uso del maschile. Suppongo quindi che la variante femminile (che su usa peraltro nel Sud) abbia magari un'altro referente, ovvero la pianta 'zucchina' (derivante da 'zucca'), e non il 'frutto' stesso... o si? Quindi: zucchina = la pianta; zucchino = il frutto...?? Cercando in rete mi confondo ancora di più...
