Si tratta dell’operatore fondamentale che consente la soggettivazione, che consente al bambino di separarsi – all’interno della dinamica edipica – dall’identificazione con il fallo immaginario della madre, quella cosa che ne completa l’essere mancante. Il Nome-del-Padre sottrae il bambino al desiderio sessuale della madre e il bambino può così trovare il proprio accesso al desiderio.


Tengo dudas con la frase "sottrae il bambino al desiderio", para mí lo lógico sería traducir como sustrae/priva al niño del deseo pero no estoy segura de que la frase en italiano signifique lo mismo.
