Explanation:
Depinde de ciclul de studiu la care se referă foaia matricolă:
- ciclul primar - clasa a III-a D
- ciclul secundar - clasa a VIII-a D;
- liceu - clasa a XI-a D.


"Ogni scuola si divide in classi e sezioni.
Le classi si identificano con numeri ordinali, nelle scuole elementari si va dalla classe 1a alla classe 5a, così come alle scuole medie superiori, mentre le scuole medie inferiori partono dalla classe 1a per fermarsi alla 3a.
Tra le scuole medie superiori, fa eccezione il liceo classico, che ha 4a e 5a ginnasio, retaggio ultimo della fase storica in cui ogni scuola superiore possedeva una sua specifica scuola media, appunto in questo caso 1a, 2a e 3a ginnasio, per poi proseguire con 1a liceo fino alla 3a."
