hagnend weg/route Explanation: I had this in Italian > English about a sector of an Italian toown survibing from the Middle Age. I think I answered hanging walls in that case. I hope my German is not too terrible! :(( -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 mins (2008-01-26 14:20:11 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- *Hangend* is what I meant to write. With Umlaut on the first a, which this keyboard does not have. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2008-01-26 17:53:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Actually the other question was about giardini pensili (hanging gardens). Here it can be suspended road (suspendierte strasse). Cosi va meglio Anto? If we had the name of the town we could find out. Maybe a road like die Chiesische Mauer. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2008-01-26 17:53:50 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- *Chinesiche Mauer* (typo). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2008-01-26 18:15:14 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Search Google for " the walls of Bergamo". The first site has an actual picture of a road on pillars. So it coule be "haengende strasse. The site calls it "walking itinerary" (reiseroute). |

-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2008-01-26 18:20:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ..... ist aber leider nur die Übersetzung von "strada sospesa": http://bellinzonaealto.ticino.ch/15/common_details.jsp?lang=... |
