Italian term or phrase: capitale sociale
"La Toscana è tra le regioni italiane con il più alto capitale sociale. Significa che c’è un’altissima partecipazione alle scelte amministrative pubbliche, alle assemblee dove si decide che fare di un quartiere, di una scuola, di un ospedale, di un condominio."

J'ai l'impression que dans le passage ci-dessus, le terme ne recouvre pas l'acception de "capital social".

Peut-être s'agit-il de "capital sociétal"?

Traduire par "capital social" cette notion de "tissus de liens sociaux" (car je crois que c'est de cela qu'il s'agit, finalement) me semble assez étrange.

Auriez-vous quelques idées, suggestions, ou connaîtriez-vous un terme consacré?

en effet le capital social en français signifie plutôt l'étendue des relations sociales que vous avez et non pas l'inclination vers des oeuvres sociales
