Durante la fase di verniciatura, parte della vernice spruzzata non si applica alla scocca (overspray di applicazione) ma si miscela al flusso discensionale di aria presente nella cabina, che, insieme alle particelle di vernice, prima di essere espulse dai camini, incontrano una nube di carbonato di calcio che inertizza la vernice rendendola non più appiccicosa.

Il cliente dice di tradurre appiccicosa con "viscosité" o "visqueuse", quindi ci siamo con il termine.
Ma come rendere bene la frase (soprattutto la parte "rendendola non più appiccicosa")?
