I'm afraid I don't have much context. This is from a table listing reports and publications that are available for each of the wells in a natural gas reservoir.

Asker: It seems that dissection refers more to the geomorphology, where this is a record specifically about individual wells in the reservoir. I went with "sectioning" as in thin-sectioning of core samples. Thanks for your efforts.
