Mining & Minerals / Gems / creazione di gioielli
Italian term or phrase: smalto a fuoco
salve a tutti,

grazie mille!

vitreous enamel
Explanation:
i.e. fired in a kiln

I would say "opaque". As for graffiato: are you sure it is not referring to graphite enamel?

Asker: I'm pretty sure, they want to point out that the artist uses "poor" materials instead of common ones used in jewellery. thanks!

It doesn't seems common for jewellery, but no reason why not. I'm not an expert, though. Just what I found in the dictionary.
The definition is:
Stove enamelling is a wet-paint process that uses specialised stoving paints. The paint is applied by spraying before curing in an oven at a specific temperature and for a specific period of time. The result is a high quality, corrosion resistant, durable finish.

Stove Enamelling is typically used on metal components and is available in a wide range of colours, gloss levels and other types of finish.
