Hi all,

I'm having trouble figuring out what "cognizione piena" means in the sentence below:

"La domanda cautelare svolta da XXXX [complainant] allo stato appare fondata, alla luce della disposizione di cui all'art. 20, comma 1, lett. b), c.p.i., giacche' - salve migliori approfondamenti in sede di cognizione piena, XXXX [respondent] utilizza un segno molto simile a quello di titolarita' della concorrente per prodotti affini"

I have found various explanations for "processo a cognizione piena" online, but am unsure how best to render it in English.
