Italian term or phrase: Concorso
Buonasera....... In realtà, mi servirebbe il significato dell'espressione "Bando di concorso". Che poi sarebbe quello indetto da un'azienda, che vuole affidare ad altre aziende i servizi relativi alle proprie infrastrutture.
Ecco qualche estratto del testo in cui è inserita la parola concorso, con questa sfumatura di significato:

A "Gli obiettivi del presente concorso sono:
2.1. Ricevere e selezionare proposte tecniche e finanziarie, circa la fornitura, installazione e assistenza per un’infrastruttura, o insieme di infrastrutture tecnologiche e software, in merito al controllo elettronico integrato degli accessi a[...]"

B "Sono eleggibili per siffatto concorso, a parità di condizioni, tutte le imprese, nazionali o straniere, orientate a operare nella fornitura e implementazione di infrastrutture tecnologiche, per sistemi integrati di sicurezza elettronica (in particolare, sistemi di sicurezza di perimetri industriali, controllo di accessi, vigilanza elettronica e gestione delle presenze)".

Non è un pò inappropriata l'espressione "Band of announcement"? Grazie!

agree  Shabelula: the concept here is tender/bid so you're right, but bando di concorso in Italian mainly means the publication of an ad for a (public) contest to obtain a job, where suitable candidates must APPLY and take an exam, not BID. Here much better bando di gara
