English translation:tax burden
Explanation:

"The amount of tax paid by a person, company, or country in a specified period considered as a proportion of total income in that period"

Anche semplicemente "taxation" potrebbe essere una possibilità.

tax levy withheld-at-source

Explanation:
My French association with the cognate (quaere: equivalent term) suggests deduction at source, withholding or PAYE (Pay as You Earn) tax.

Il problema del prelievo fiscale also suggests to me a problem similar to the UK ACT - advance corporation tax, namely excessive preliminary deduction at source (cf. sopravvalutazione del franco) that cannot be clawed back by the taxpayer.

Something also tells me that 'prelievo reale (sostitutivo)' in the previous ProZ question might mean something other a real or actual (substitute) taxation, namely a withholding tax on income from land.

fiscal drag

Explanation:

Fiscal drag is an economic term whereby inflation or income growth moves taxpayers into higher tax brackets. This in effect increases government tax revenue without actually increasing tax rates. The increase in taxes reduces aggregate demand and consumer spending from taxpayers as a larger share of their income now goes to taxes, which leads to deflationary policies, or drag, on the economy.

tax-take or taxation also work and are probably correct in your context, depending on the remainder of your text.

Fiscal drag is a term used by Codeluppi for prelievo fiscale along with tax-take

Example sentence(s):
  • wage-earners in some other OECD countrieshave wound up with higher tax bills due to so-called fiscal drag.
