Italian term or phrase: modello partecipativo
This is from a press release by a famous Italian auto maker. Touting the company's successes, it says, "Risultati raggiunti grazie al modello partecipativo e a Relazioni Sindacali fondate sul dialogo e sulla collaborazione." I'm hard pressed to come up with a translation for "modello partecipativo", which I understand to mean the company's willingness to allow workers to participate in company decisions...but I'm not sure of that, either.

Any thoughts?
