Szerintem ezek megfelelnek a kérdezett összetételekben.
Nuanszban kicsit különböznek, a szövegkörnyezettől függően ajánlom használni őket.
A "presence" inkább hosszabb távú jelenlétre utal, de például "media presence" összetételben gyakran használatos.
Az appearance inkább egyedi/eseti megjelenés.

Explanation:
Több megoldást is használhatsz, a szövegkörnyezettől függ, hogy melyik a legjobb az adott esetben.

Az első esetben (reklámmegjelenés) például jó az "ad placement", főleg amerikai angolban.
A második esetben viszont lehet "ads displayed during games". Ha tévében, akkor pedig "ads that appear on television" (lásd Katalin válaszát) vagy "ads carried by television channels". Magazinokban "publish"....

Esetleg több kombinációt is használhatsz, nem kell szigorúan kötődni a magyar (rövid) szerkezethez, hosszabban is kifejezheted a lényeget.
